One week until Hell's Gate 2010 and, despite the cold and the bad weather, Fabio Fasola is constantly at work on the grounds of Il Ciocco to define the final details of the challenge. New really challenging lines and some beautiful shiver passage will constitute the technical news of the run of this seventh edition that powerfully enters in the circuit of the newborn World Xtreme Enduro Championship.
The start is at sunrise on Saturday at 7:00; turns to be done in the first phase, purely enduro, are four; including a special test in passage line with the exception of the first turn.
The first thirty classified after the four turns will have access to the phase 2: the hardest part! It starts at 15:30 simultaneously on the grid like supermoto.
Also in this second phase the turns are four, and the elimination is calculated on the delay from the first rider: for the first two rounds that will be disconnected of over forty minutes from the leader of the run will be stopped.
For the third turn the gap is narrower: thirty minutes of delay from the first one are enough to be out! After the four turns, the pilot who first succeeds in conquering the terrible peak of the Hell's Peak will be the winner of Hell's Gate 2010.
In the second phase and especially in the run toward the Hell's Peak, the external help of mechanics and public is permitted. The public, with its physical support, is the other true protagonist of this magic challenge: once again we will see the crowd gathered at the feet of the final climb with ropes and trumpets, ready to drag to the top the heroes of the competition.
Registration are coming numerous, and, as it also happened in December for Desert Logic, the sold out is expected. About the names of the big ones, Fabio does not unbalance yet, but he guarantees the "usual known" professionals of the discipline and he is working to propose some other surprises!
The prize for the winner is a KTM 4 times EXC 2010; the registrations close on January 29.
